What is Gallery Sounds?
It is a fresh, unique ongoing concert series with some of todays top and rising musical artists IN AN ART GALLERY!!! Each month, we feature a very limited number of performances (typically only one to three concerts), making sure that every Gallery Sounds show is a very special, memorable event for audience and performers alike. And, once again, the concerts are not in your typical smoke-filled, dreary venue/bar environment with some less than attentive people. Gallery Sounds concerts are in an ART GALLERY; we surround you with the fine art of sight and sound!!!
The Gallery Sounds Concert Series was entirely born from our passion for music, which drove us to expand our visual art presentation to include live music from national and local bands. Our gallery is an absolutely beautiful space to perform/attend and includes a top quality sound system with full stage lighting to ensure quality concerts.
Our goal with Gallery Sounds is to bring in great music for people to experience in an intimate, artful setting that is conducive to exploring the music. We want the listener to fully experience the incredible talents of the musician artists without having to contend with extracurricular activities (so often found at a bar or typical music venue) that often overshadow the music. Our Gallery Sounds is all about the music!
See what artists are saying about our venue:
"Randy Bacon Gallery is one of my favorite shows in the country. It's a remarkable place that shows you how a community can be built by one smart and kind person." -John Vanderslice
"Randy Bacon Gallery is one of the best sounding and listener-friendly rooms one could hope to play. The staff's outstanding, and the place is a blessing and beacon of light for the town of Springfield." --Will Johnson (Centro-matic, South San Gabriel)
What makes a club for me is the people. Sure, a nice space and good sound are important (and Randy Bacon gallery has both), but the thing that means the most to me is when I show up to a venue and I can tell the people who own and/or run the place take pride in what their doing. Randy and Shannon do. They've created an intimate little enviroment that's a joy to play. And their care and attention to detail elevates the whole experience that much more. --Anders Parker (Varnaline)
